Easter Egg Brownie Nests
While I do try to be healthier and keep the kids from eating too much sugar, I tend to be more lenient during holidays!
And, even though these brownies look like they’re really bad for you, they are at least organic:)
What would Easter be without special goodies and treats?!
My kids loved these Easter egg brownies! They were delicious and adorable!
Easter Brownies
And what’s even more awesome, is that they were incredibly easy to make!
My sister made these for Easter and I helped her decorate them when she came over to decorate Easter Eggs with us. We had a busy, yet fun day!
We made a lot of really creative Easter Egg designs and lots of tasty treats, including Sour Cream Easter Cookies!
Easter Brownie Ideas
She used a brownie mix to make these adorable Easter brownies, but you can make them from scratch if you have a recipe that you like.
To make these Easter brownies you will need the following:
Chocolate Icing (we used this organic icing)
Brownie Easter Ideas
First you need to make the brownies. Mix and bake them according to the directions on the brownie mix box.
Once the brownies are baked, cut into squares, and completely cooled, it’s time to make them look like nests!
First you need to prepare your icing bags. Screw on the tip and fill the bag with the chocolate icing. I used the wilton #18 tip, but any tip similar in size will work.
Starting in the middle squeeze a circle of icing. Continue to circle around going out further with each circle. When your nest reaches the diameter that you want you need to build it up a little with a second layer on the outer edges.
Once the chocolate nest is made, you can place two or three robin egg candies in the middle of the nest.
And that’s all there is to it!
Aren’t they adorable?!
And wasn’t that incredibly easy?!
I hope that you enjoy these easter egg brownie nests as much as we do!
