Christmas Perler Beads

Christmas is my family’s favorite time of year! We eat yummy Christmas treats, I drink Peppermint Cafe Con Leche, and enjoy the smell of the Christmas tree

It’s also a fun season because of all the Christmas themed crafts and activities that the kids get to do!

Christmas perler beads are not only a fun activity to do, but make for great Christmas decorations to hang on your fridge during the holiday season:) A great craft for your child to proudly display!

Perler Beads

One of my favorite things about perler beads is that they are so good for developing fine motor skills! Having to pick up the small beads and place them in the right spots is an excellent way to have fun and to help your child develop all at the same time.

It’s also a wonderful activity for helping to increase focus and concentration.

How to Make Perler Beads

If you’ve never made perler beads before you need to start by getting together everything you need.

You will need a peg board to design your perler beads on. And you will need the actual perler beads that are made specifically for this project.

Then use the perler bead pictures below to design your Christmas perler beads. You can see from the pics how many individual beads there are. Simply count the beads to know where to place them on the board.

Once you’ve placed all of your perler beads in place you need to iron them to fuse them together

Perler beads can be made for any topic and any holiday! Some of the perler beads we have made are Pokemon Perler Beads, Minecraft Perler Beads, Perler Bead Magnets, Halloween Perler Beads, Autumn Perler Beads, and Easter Perler Beads!

Now that you have everything gathered together that you need, let’s get started making some Christmas perler beads!

Christmas ornaments are a great perler bead design idea! You can really just use your imagination to make these! My daughter designed this one all on her own. Isn’t it cute?!

The key is to use a round perler bead peg board when creating round designs. And be sure to leave room at the top to make the ornament top!

Perler Bead Christmas Tree

Christmas Perler Beads

My kids made this white Christmas tree specifically for me because I love white Christmas trees! I have a second tree that I put up in a separate room that is white with pink ornaments. I wanted one for years before I got it, which makes it extra special:) I love it! So this perler bead means a lot to me:)

This is one of my favorite perler bead designs!

My kids lovingly refer to my husband as the Grinch;) Let’s just say he doesn’t LOVE Christmas as much as we do. He actually has a Grinch shirt that he wears at Christmas time that says “I must stop this Christmas music from coming!” So the kids made this perler bead design for him! lol We all got a good laugh out of it:)

And those are 7 Christmas perler bead patterns!

Do your kids love to make Christmas crafts? I hope you and your children enjoy making these perler beads as much as we did! And be sure to let me know which ones you like the most and decide to make!

Merry Christmas!
